The MAGIC Of Staying Well: Securing your recovery; Workshop

For: Anyone who has previously attended courses or had a 1-to-1
The aim of all medicine, whether for physical or mental health, is to maintain your wellbeing. Getting better is the first objective – staying that way is the next.
An ideal refresher for anyone who has made good progress after going on any of our other workshops or having one-to-one sessions with a practitioner – or those who were able to face down problems in their lives in their own way – this one focuses on preventing relapse. Whether it is helping you to identify your own early warning signs, generally improving your mood, or simply providing you with a framework for better understanding yourself, it will give you the confidence to manage better as you look forward to the future.
This free two hour workshop will provide handy tools including the cornerstone ‘MAGIC’ (Mindful, Active, Giving, Interest, Connected) five ways to wellbeing.
Please note: You must be booked onto a course to attend. You are welcome to bring a friend or relative for support, but they must also be booked onto the course due to limited spaces.
Please note: There is ample parking to the left of the building. The entrance to the Community Hub is on the side of the building at the back through a separate frosted glass door. The maximum car park time is three hours.
Wiltshire IAPT Service psycho-educational courses are only available for people who are over the age of 16 and registered with a GP in Wiltshire (excluding Swindon area). Courses can be booked by using the online booking form* below, or over the phone by contacting the Wiltshire IAPT Service on 01380 731335. All our courses are released for booking 4 weeks before the start date - Bookings received before the 4 week window cannot be processed.
