Wellbeing During Pregnancy and After Baby

Wellbeing in pregnancy workshop

Pregnancy can be a wonderful experience but can also be a worrying and stressful time. This workshop will explore how wellbeing can be impacted during pregnancy and some ways in which you can look after yourself during this time. We will also introduce some techniques to manage anxiety during pregnancy including mindfulness techniques to maximise your wellbeing during pregnancy.

Please note: You must be booked onto a workshop to attend. You are welcome to bring a partner, friend or relative for support, but they must also be booked onto the workshop due to limited spaces.

This workshop is aimed at people who are currently pregnant, we will cover:

  • Exploring the ways in which our wellbeing can be impacted during pregnancy
  • Self-care during pregnancy
  • Techniques to manage anxiety during pregnancy
  • Introduction to the skills and techniques of mindfulness and how these can help in pregnancy

This workshop is suitable for:

Anyone currently pregnant who would like to improve their wellbeing

Wellbeing after baby workshop

This workshop explores how we can manage our own emotional and mental wellbeing after the birth of a child. A range of topics are covered including stress management and an introduction to anxiety and low mood, as well as exploring useful ways to manage our thoughts and effective communication styles.

Workshop aims:

  • Normalising and exploring the challenges of motherhood
  • Managing our expectations of ourselves and others
  • Managing difficult thoughts
  • How anxiety and low mood can impact us after having a baby
  • Setting goals and managing daily activities
  • Helpful ways to reduce stress
  • Useful techniques for effective communication

This workshop is suitable for:

Anyone who has had a child in the last 12 months who is interested in learning tools and techniques to manage stress
These are taught workshops designed to introduce practical strategies to manage your mood, run in a group format, so although there will be some group discussion about the techniques and examples it is up to you how much or how little you choose to take part. Workshops can be booked over the phone. All our workshops are released for booking 4 weeks before the start date. Our admin team are available weekdays, 9am-5pm and will be happy to assist you in booking on to your chosen workshop and answer any questions you may have.
